Our Indian office is located in a brand new building in the Chetla area of Kolkata. It is 10 minutes walk from the nearest Metro station (Kalighat), and is about 15 minutes drive from the Newmarket area.

Our India office can seat up to 15 engineers/testers, one admin assistant, and one office manager. Using a shift system, we can provide for up to 45 engineers/testers per day. We have 24 hour security guards onsite, and Windows ActiveDirectory providing access only to authenticated users. Our assets and your data are therefore kept secure at all times.

Each engineer is supplied with high specification Intel Core 2 Duo iMac computers. These allow versatility in running either Microsoft Windows or Apple Mac OS X operating systems. By using virtualization solutions from VMWare, we reduce the need for extra PC hardware in many cases, lowering power consumption and making the working environment more comfortable for our staff. Depending on project and testing requirements, each engineer is given extra PCs or Macintosh computers.

All computers are provided with UPS battery backup, and we have a backup generator in case of extended periods of main electricity failure.

Internet broadband connection is maintained via 3 separate ISPs, with a ClarkConnect solution providing load balancing and automatic failover switching, so we will remain online even in the case of 2 ISPs failing simultaneously.

The office is fully air conditioned, with redundant AC units in each zone. Even if one unit in each zone breaks down or requires servicing, the other unit can continue to operate.

All servers are kept in a locked area within the manager's office. Data backup is automatically performed every day, with one copy kept onsite to facilitate rapid restoration, and one encrypted copy of the backup data stored offsite for additional security.

A secondary office is already in the planning stage for use in disaster recovery/expansion.
